About Kathy Neville Browne

A former criminal prosecutor assigned to narcotics in the Bronx in the '80s, Kathy Neville Browne traded the courtroom for stage and film as an actor in 2005. Since 2019, she has been performing stand-up comedy in New York City, entertaining audiences with her unique take on dating, aging, pets, and family. Kathy firmly believes that laughter can heal just about anything, and nothing makes her happier than hearing an audience laugh!

Kathy performs in NYC at Gotham, Broadway, St. Mark's, and Room 52, as well as private fundraisers. She was selected for the 2025 Laughing Buddha Comedy Festival in NYC, where she advanced to the quarterfinals. She was selected to participate in the 2025 International Funny Women Awards Competition, BBC Studios. Kathy was awarded a one-month comedic residency at the Broadway Comedy Club in NYC in December 2024, and she participated in the Ladies of Laughter Competition at the Emelin Theater in Mamaroneck in August 2024.
